European Platformer Games Make a Jump in Q1 2021

The first quarter of 2021 has seen some exciting activity in the platformer games category in Europe. Data compiled by Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the top five platformer games' performance, focusing on downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Join Clash, published by SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD, experienced a fluctuating trend with downloads peaking at 1.1M in mid-February before declining to 641K by the end of March. Its weekly active users followed a similar pattern, reaching a high of 4.9M in mid-February and then dipping to 4.5M at the quarter's close. Revenue for Join Clash showed an uptrend in the first half of the quarter, with a peak of $2K in late February, before it slightly decreased to $2K by the end of March.

TapNation's Giant Rush! saw its downloads nearly triple from 172K in late December to a high of 1.2M in early February, and then gradually decreased to 725K by the end of March. The weekly active users mirrored this pattern, starting at 153K and surging to 2.1M in mid-February, then slightly declining to 1.7M. Revenue for Giant Rush! showed growth throughout the quarter, peaking at $905 in early March.

SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD's Stacky Dash had a strong start with downloads at 1.6M in early January, but saw a decrease to 574K by the end of March. The game's weekly active users started at 2.7M in early January and experienced a rise to 1.9M in late March, despite the drop in downloads.

Voodoo's Strong Pusher showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 939K in late December and falling to 260K by the end of March. The weekly active users also decreased from 1.8M to 821K during the quarter. Revenue, however, saw a peak of $326 in late January and ended the quarter at a slightly lower $90.

Lastly, High Heels! by Zynga Inc. had an interesting trajectory with negligible initial downloads in late December, surging to a high of 1.2M in early February, and then settling at 794K by March's end. The weekly active users for High Heels! saw a constant rise, starting at 173K in mid-January and reaching an impressive 3.1M by the end of March. The game's revenue also showed an upward trend, with a peak of $1.1K in the last week of March.
